Frequently Asked Questions
What are the dates and times for the next show ?
Wolverton manor Garden fair is always held on the weekend following the August Bank Holiday. The dates of our next show are Saturday 5th & Sunday 6th September 2026 - open 10am 'til 5pm both days.
How much are tickets?
Tickets are available on the door for £8 Per Person - Children under 14 go free!
​Flat rate for all including concessions - all profits raised support the IOW Foodbank.
Can I pay by card?
Tickets can be purchased on the door, with cash or card accepted.
​Please note that payment methods at stalls may vary, so we recommend bringing some cash along with you-just in case!
Where is the fair?
The Garden Fair is held in the beautiful setting of Wolverton Manor.
Wolverton manor, Shorwell, PO30 3JS Isle of Wight
​Is the fair accessible by bus?
The no 12 Southern Vectis bus route take you to the village.
From there is signposted footpath to the fair that is around a 10min walk.
Is it free to park?
Yes. Parking is free throughout the weekend. Parking operations are managed by the Brighstone Scouts, who volunteer their time. While there is no charge to park, donations are welcome and greatly appreciated to support their work.
Is the fair wheelchair accessible?
The showground is a cut grass field and sits on a gentle slope . In dry weather, the grass is generally easy to navigate.
There are four accessible toilets on site, and the Scouts (running the carpark) will happily direct Blue Badge holders to disabled parking closer to the entrance.
Are dogs allowed at the fair?
All dogs are welcomed - We also ask owners to take extra care around our feathered and furry friends from the alpacas and falconry teams. Plus, don’t miss our fun dog show each afternoon!
Are we allowed in the Manor?
The Garden Fair is incredibly grateful to the Manor owner for allowing us to use this wonderful setting. Visitors are welcome to access the parts of the Manor used for Elizabethan re-enactments and shows. The rest of the building is private- asking everyone to respect the privacy signs in place. Thank you for helping us keep this special venue so welcoming for all!


Is there a cash machine on site?
No, we do not have a cash machine on-site. Some traders will accept card payments but if you can, bring cash along with you to support the smaller traders and wonderful charities we have attending.
Are fold up chairs allowed?
Yes, fold-up chairs are permitted. You may bring blankets or chairs, if you need to sit down we have a picnic areas across our four fields as well as areas with tables and chairs and bales of straw dotted around the site.



Can i leave the fair and come back in?
Yes, you will be allowed to re-enter the festival site as long as you have a hand stamp from the same day.
Where can i get an itinerary and find out whats on each day?
The running order for our fair activities and displays will be published in the IOW Observer on Friday 4 September. The Wolverton Supplement will be provided free at the fair entrance by the IOW Observer and will also be available to view on this website and on our social media channels in the week leading up to the event.
Where can i get a site map?
The Garden Fair map will be available nearer to the event inside the free Wolverton Supplement in the IOW Observer and will be published on our website.
